Gallery Books To Publish Book With Erika Jayne

NEW YORK, July 18– Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish PRETTY MESS by Erika Jayne, it was announced today by Jennifer Bergstrom, Publisher.

Erika Jayne is the stage name of Erika Girardi, the beloved no-holds-barred star of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a fan favorite who has over 1.5 million followers across social media.    In PRETTY MESS, Erika dishes on every aspect of her life:  from her rise as a daring and fiery pop/dance performer and singer; to her decision to accept a role on RHOBH; to her family life (including her marriage to famed lawyer Tom Girardi, 33 years her senior).   There’s much more to Erika Jayne than her fans see on the show and PRETTY MESS is her opportunity to dig deep and tell her many-layered, unique, and inspiring life story.

“This book proves why Erika Jayne is a fan favorite:  she’s fun and she’s fearless; and for the first time, she’s here to tell all,” said Bergstrom.

Without Erika Jayne, Erika Girardi would just be another rich bitch with a plane,” said Erika, “I hope my intimate story can inspire readers to become their own strong, confident, and vibrant pretty messes.”

Erika Jayne has appeared on Entertainment Tonight,  EXTRA, Live with Kelly and Ryan, and Watch What Happens Live!, among others, and was a contestant on Season 24 of  Dancing with the Stars.

Jeremie Ruby-Strauss, executive editor at Gallery Books, acquired North American, Open Market, and Audio rights from Creative Artists Agency (CAA).    PRETTY MESS is scheduled for publication in January 2018.
