Gallery Books To Publish Amy Schumer
New York, September 24, 2015 – Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish a memoir by Emmy winning actress, director, and comedian Amy Schumer, it was announced today by Jennifer Bergstrom, Publisher.
Schumer, who won an Emmy award on Sunday night for her hit television show Inside Amy Schumer, is everywhere these days—from her summer blockbuster movie Trainwreck, to the cover of GQ, to opening for Madonna at Madison Square Garden (where she announced that she will be the first female comic to headline MSG next year), to hosting an upcoming Saturday Night Live, to the premiere in October of her second HBO Special (directed by Chris Rock).
The currently untitled memoir will feature personal and observational stories from Schumer that range from the raunchy to the romantic, the heartfelt to the harrowing.

Bergstrom acquired US, Canada, Open Market, and audio rights from David Kuhn at Kuhn Projects. The book is currently scheduled for publication in late 2016. Louise Burke is the President of the Gallery Books Group. Alison Callahan, executive editor, will edit the book.
