Gallery Books to Publish Josh Gad Memoir, In Gad We Trust: A Tell-Some

NEW YORK, July 9, 2024—Comedian and entertainer Josh Gad, known for his portrayal of Olaf in Disney’s Frozen franchise and his award-winning turn as Elder Cunningham in the Broadway smash hit The Book of Mormon, will publish his memoir IN GAD WE TRUST: A TELL-SOME with Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. The book is currently scheduled to be released on January 14, 2025.

In this heartfelt and hilarious essay collection, Gad dives into a wide array of personal topics such as the lasting impact of his parents’ divorce, how he struggled with weight and self-image, his first big break, how everyone was sure his most successful ventures (both on the big screen and the stage) would fail, his take on fatherhood, and much more.

About publishing his memoir Gad said, “After decades of reading other people’s words, I’ve decided to write some of my own and it’s turned into my book IN GAD WE TRUST: A TELL SOME. I can’t wait to take readers on a journey tackling everything from a Snowman to a Mormon to grown man. I am thrilled to share my stories with all of you as I tackle fame, fatherhood, faith, Florida, secrets from some of your favorite films, and even topics that don’t begin with the letter F, all while giving you something hilarious and brutally honest to read.”

Vice President, Executive Editor Natasha Simons acquired North American rights from Anthony Mattero of CAA. Simon & Schuster Audio will simultaneously publish the audio book which will be narrated by the author.
